Custom‑Built Marine‑Grade Fluid Slip Ring for FPSO Single‑Point Mooring External Turret Applications
Jiangxi Ingiant Technology has successfully developed a custom non-standard marine fluid slip ring, delivering a reliable rotary fluid transmission solution for offshore vessels and ocean-going facilities. This breakthrough targets the long-standing foreign technical monopoly over core rotary components for FPSO single-point mooring external turret systems, advancing the domestic localization of key offshore engineering equipment.
FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading), known as the “offshore oil factory”, is critical for offshore oil‑gas exploitation. Its single-point mooring external turret enables the vessel to weathervane freely against wind, waves, and currents, while maintaining continuous fluid and power transmission. For decades, core hardware including electrical slip rings and fluid swivels for such turret assemblies has been dominated by overseas suppliers, which has become a major bottleneck restricting domestic offshore project development.
Developed specifically for marine and shipboard operating conditions, the LHK250‑2Y fluid slip ring features two independent fluid passages (X1, X2) with G1‑1/2 threaded ports and a 40 mm flow bore optimized for water‑based media. It supports multi-loop medium transfer for ship hydraulic and cooling systems. The unit offers 1 MPa working pressure with a 10 MPa design pressure rating to guarantee stable pressure resistance under harsh marine conditions. Rated speed stands at 10 RPM, ensuring smooth, jitter-free fluid transfer under low-speed continuous rotation for ship rotary machinery.
Constructed with full stainless‑steel housing, this fluid swivel provides outstanding resistance to marine salt‑fog corrosion. Its wide operating temperature range of -28 ℃ ~ +80 ℃ suits global ocean-going vessel operations. Two M12 lifting eyebolts are supplied for easy field installation. Engineered to meet marine environmental requirements, the product’s reliability is validated alongside complete system testing, making it an ideal fluid rotary joint for marine equipment.
Ingiant focuses on the offshore engineering sector and delivers customized rotary connection solutions for large-scale projects such as FPSO and FSO. This self-developed fluid slip ring fills the domestic gap for turret-grade fluid swivels.
